Great service, good facilities, nice history :)
Exceptional breakfast options. The bar in the lobby is very useful and it's open till late. Helpful staff. Nice parking options. It builds on the history of the place where it is placed: the ancient town of Aquincum.
Even though the staff was very friendly, many of them did not speak Hungarian. In the bar of the hotel you can order dinner, but it is a bit pricy and the menu is short. The rooms do not have sockets near the nightstands.

What was the highlight of Verdi Budapest Aquincum
Comfortable stay away from the city centre , value for money.
Although the decor was a bit dated, we liked the warm colours and comfy atmosphere. The staff was courteous and while we arrived around 10.30 am, expecting not to be able to get our room till later, they had another similar room ready which we accepted. It was lovely being able to take our cases up and go out after. We had some lunch at the bar, which was excellent, as was the breakfast the next morning. Would come back again.
We were there too short to find out any negative details.
